Origins

PatchWerxPlus is a home-based sewing business which I began 10 years ago.

In the beginning...

My first sewing projects were simple clothing items for myself nearly 50 years ago. As my skill level increased I began sewing more complicated clothing for myself and making simple clothes for my sisters' dolls using commercial patterns.

And then...

I learned to make my own patterns. I was able to create clothing for myself that fit perfectly. I began to offer my sewing & design services to family members and the local community.

Later...

Life's responsibilities curtailed my offering services outside my family. I continued to sew clothes for myself and my daughters as well as creating Halloween costumes and special occasion clothing.

Now...

I have returned to custom sewing and designing now that my daughters are grown and I have some free time available.
